when two Canadians and I softly slided off the road. It looked like a moon landing. Extracting the car from there was a small step for humankind but a giant leap for our three! Thank you Mr Truckdriver. 
Getting to the land of birds requires special vehicles to pass the 6km of black beach of Skeiðarár..
